Purpose: To prepare and maintain and financial records and statements
related to programs and services delivered by the Philippine Red Cross.
Tasks include but are not limited to:

Tasks include but are not limited to:
- Prepare, examine and maintain accounting records, financial statements, ledgers and other financial reports with a focus on accuracy, completeness, and adherence to reporting and procedural standards
- Record, sort & classify financial transactions in legers and journals
- Maintain advance register with aging report to track all outstanding advances and liquidations sending reminders to staff and supervisors to ensure timely liquidation
- Track all incoming expenditure vouchers for payments and expense liquidations to ensure they are posted to ledger accurately and on a timely basis
- Process liquidations and reimbursement of expenses
- Scan and inventory all expenditure vouchers on monthly basis for digital archiving
- Assist in preparation of budgets
- Bachelor of Science Degree (4 Year) in Accounting or Business Administration
- Minimum 1 to 2 years work experience as an Accountant
- Demonstrated proficiency with applications such as Word, Excel, PPT and accounting related software
- Excellent business acumen, reporting and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
