International Medical Corps Job Vacancy: Pharmacist Assistant - Sanliurfa, Turkey

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/SCOPE OF WORK:
The primary function of the Pharmacist Assistant is to assist the Warehouse pharmacist in all to day activities in the Warehouse

Essential Duties:
  • Assist the Warehouse Pharmacist in all day to day activities as assigned.
  • Assist the warehouse pharmacist in conducting quality check for all received medical items including pharmaceuticals, medical consumables, lab supplies and medical equipment.
  • Assist the warehouse pharmacist in conducting quality check for the kitting process.
  • Assist the warehouse pharmacist in tracking medical procurements.
  • Assist health team in monthly spot checks in the medical warehouse.
  • Assist the warehouse pharmacist in managing controlled medications.
  • Assist the warehouse pharmacist in tracking the medical orders and report to medical team about the shipped orders.
  • Assist the warehouse pharmacist in preparing monthly stock analysis reports.
  • Ensure timely preparation and shipping of kits and packages of health commodities
  • Ensure proper filing of medical documents and communications within the medical warehouse
  • Adhere to administrative directives with regards to work schedules, record keeping, line of communications and other IMC policies.
  • Adhere to IMC Code of Conduct and internationally accepted humanitarian principles
  • Any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • University degree in health, pharmacy, nursing or related field.
  • Should have experience working with Drugs and Warehouse procedures.
  • Must be good in written and spoken English; Arabic or Turkish is a plus.
  • Must be skilled in Microsoft Office, Excel.
  • Must be willing to work for long hours under stress.
  • Must have excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Must be able to work extra time on weekends and evenings when required.
  • Must have the ability to work effectively with various personalities and cultures. Strong interpersonal and communication skills required
  • Eligible to work legally in Turkey(having work permit/valid residency)
