We are seeking an experienced Finance Advisor to provide finance and accounting management and capacity building support for Tearfund partner AEL. The post holder will ensure that financial procedures and systems for financial management and control are in compliance with Tearfund, consortium and donor requirements.
The role involves capacity assessment of partner staff and training, reviewing accounting systems and procedures, reviewing audited accounts, preparing financial reports for donors and encouraging good financial and accounting practice throughout the programme.
Proven experience in bookkeeping/accounts and financial management, compiling donor reports, ability to develop budgets and ability to review internal control systems are essential requirements for this role.
The successful applicant will have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, training and facilitation skills, ability to prioritise and pay attention to detail. Very good interpersonal skills are also required.

Salary: £24,105 per annum, plus competitive benefits package
