NRC is looking for a qualifies Finance Coordinator.
Background The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) re-established its presence in the Occupied Palestinian Territory (oPt) in January 2009 and is mainly developing programme activities in the sectors of shelter, education, food distribution and the provision of information, counselling and legal assistance (ICLA). The long-term objective of the programme is to contribute to improved protection and living conditions for refugees and internally displaced persons in the oPt. NRC has offices in Jerusalem, Ramallah, Hebron, and Gaza. NRC is seeking a Finance Coordinator, who will assist the Finance and Administration Manager with Financial Management in NRC, oPt.
Overall responsibility: The Finance Coordinator is responsible for assisting the programme department in NRC with the rules and regulations of NRC’s donors, assisting with donor budgeting monitoring the performance of financial agreements with donors, and reporting to donors. He/she will be responsible directly to the Finance and Administration Manager of NRC oPt and will be supervising the Finance Unit .
