Are you interested in helping to address the root causes of poverty and enabling people who are poor to claim their human rights? ActionAid is an international anti-poverty agency working in over 40 countries, taking sides with poor people to end poverty and injustice together.
Reporting to the General Manager – International Programs, in this role you will be responsible for developing the program portfolio, providing support to ActionAid’s country programs, representing ActionAid Australia in relevant working groups, and developing strong relationships across ActionAid and with other relevant stakeholders. You will also be responsible for providing technical leadership and identifying funding opportunities for programs that respond to and prevent violence against women affected by conflict and disasters.
To be successful, you will possess substantial expertise in the development of high quality project proposals and budgets. Experience in women's rights, violence against women and humanitarian assistance will be highly regarded.
