Integral to our work is policy advocacy, capacity development among stakeholders, and behavioral monitoring and evaluation to strengthen a program’s impact on nutrition.

Project Summary: The Manoff Group is seeking qualified applicants with experience in implementing food security and nutrition programs such as Development Food Assistance Programs (DFAP) or Multi-Year Assistance Programs (MYAP) for an awarded USAID program in Zimbabwe. The Zimbabwe DFAP is intended to (1) sustainably improve livelihoods through improved productivity, marketing and access to financial services and (2) sustainably improve household nutrition and health.

Position Summary: TMG is looking for a seasoned professional to be the Social/Behavior Change and Nutrition Advisor for the project. •Leads the strategic vision for social and behavior change linked to improved nutrition outcomes •Oversees and coordinates the formative and operations research (as needed) to guide strategic program choices and the specific approaches and tools for social and behavior change tied to improved nutrition outcomes •Develops and helps track the critical metrics for nutrition change •Leads the development of a social and behavior change strategy for nutrition improvement and the linkages with agriculture •Contributes to and oversees training curriculum •Advises on communications strategy and methods •Designs and oversees implementation of various nutrition efforts •Coordinates program nutrition activities with other implementers •Supervises the activities of the SBBC Officer •Participates in the Project Steering Committee at Country Director level •The position is located in the Amalima project office in Bulawayo
Qualifications: •Master’s degree in one of the following or related fields: health education and/or communication; international public health, nutrition, anthropology or other social sciences •Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience working internationally with government entities, UN agencies, PVOs and NGOs, including at least two years at the field level •History of engagement with USAID-funded initiatives is highly desirable •Demonstrated success in applying behavior change theory and approaches in applied field settings •Excellent written and verbal English language skills. Proficiency in at least one other language desirable
