Fixed Term Contract (7 months)
£36,240 per annum
London, UK
To maximise human rights awareness on a global level, Amnesty International needs to ensure it has an effective, sustainable and locally relevant presence in areas of the global south. To help us achieve this you’ll play a leading role in coordinating
activities and communication outputs designed to grow, engage and
mobilise Amnesty International supporters and members in countries where
there is no national entity.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for a Supporter Engagement Coordinator to coordinate key growth related activities and communication, and who can devise
supporter journeys that are designed to grow new online audiences and
increase the engagement of existing supporters and members. You will coordinate and produce digital content and monitor and record the effectiveness of our engagement strategies.
ABOUT YOU
You
will have excellent written communication skills and a successful track
record in project management and evaluation; supporter engagement
management including use of constituency relationship management
databases; and in engaging online constituencies of supporters through
email and social media. HTML would be an advantage. Fluency in English
essential, fluency in Arabic, French or Spanish desirable.
ABOUT US
Our
aim is simple: an end to human rights abuses. Independent,
international and influential, we campaign for justice, human rights and
dignity wherever they're denied. Already our network of almost three
million members and supporters is making a difference in 150 countries.
And whether we're applying pressure through authoritative research or
direct lobbying, mass demonstrations or online campaigning, we're all
inspired by hope for a better world. One where the human rights of
everyone are respected and protected everywhere.
