We are seeking Marine Assistant Research Officers to assist with all aspects of Frontier’s exciting marine research programme in Madagascar to start in July 2014.
The role involves assisting the Principal Coordinator with the
development and implementation of the research programme, involving the
daily supervision of volunteer Research Assistants, data collection and
analysis, and report-writing.
The successful candidate will have a good BSc or MSc in relevant
discipline, experience in marine or terrestrial survey techniques and
biodiversity or conservation research experience, ideally in a tropical
setting.
This post is an opportunity for less experienced individuals to gain
overseas field experience of research, project and volunteer management
and training.
