EASTERN INDONESIA CONTEXT ANALYSIS

men to end the injustice that cause poverty.
Background
Currently,
Oxfam is seeking qualified consultants to develop context analysis of Eastern
Indonesia which is covering East Nusa Tenggara, West Nusa Tenggara and South Sulawesi
Provinces as a strategic input.
Scope of Works
This
context analysis should cover at least the areas of analysis as follows :
- What are the main poverty issues?
- Where are the pocket of poverty situated in the country and what are the main poverty drivers?
- Who are the main stakeholders to be considered for reducing poverty in the country?
- What are the main developments and or poverty trends?
- How can poor people be included into the economic growth of the country?
- What are key government strategies and policies to address poverty issues?
- What are key factors that enable or limit the capacity of each agent of change in playing their role to reduce poverty and vulnerability in the country in 2015-2019?
- How are these factors and agent-of-changes interacting and what is the consequence of this interaction to the strategy to reduce poverty, inequality, and vulnerability in the country ?
Requirements
The consultants are the team with the knowledge, experience and
competencies as follows :
- Minimum 8 years working experience in international development and good understanding/experience of Oxfam works;
- Sound knowledge of rights based approach and gender, including mainstreaming gender equality to programme and policies.
- Strong analytical skill and quantitative and qualitative data collection
- Good communication skill
- Demonstrate writing skills in both English and Indonesian
- Familiar in operating Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel and Power Point.
- Ideally, post-graduate degree in social sciences or international development
