About the Opportunity
An exciting opportunity exists for a Programme Manager to join the Secretariat.
Reporting to the Director Strategic Partnerships & Coordination Programme, the Programme Manager will be responsible for overseeing the management and implementation of the EU-funded NSA Policy Engagement Programme and support NSA engagement activities across the Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat.

Reporting to the Director Strategic Partnerships & Coordination Programme, the Programme Manager will be responsible for overseeing the management and implementation of the EU-funded NSA Policy Engagement Programme and support NSA engagement activities across the Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat.
Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Effectively managing the programming process for the Non State Actor Policy Engagement Programme
- Effectively administering, implementing, and monitoring the activities of the Non State Actor Policy Engagement Programme
- Building effective working relationships with NSAs, development partners and programme staff at the Secretariat to support NSA policy engagement.
Applicants
should have an advanced Masters degree in management, business, or
social science. Candidates should have 10 years of relevant experience
in development work including programme management for similar-size
programmes involving civil society organisations. The candidate should
have experience in working with non state actors on a national and/or
regional basis.
About the Benefits
The appointment will carry a competitive remuneration and benefits package including medical and life insurance. The salary will be in the range of SDR34,026 to SDR51,040 per annum. At the 1 April 2014 exchange rate this salary range was equivalent to FJD98,426 to FJD147,642. For non-Fijian nationals, this salary may be tax-free.
