Plan Liberia is the principal recipient for the Global Fund (GF) Malaria single stream of funding (SSF) grant and we are looking for a Chief of Party to lead this programme. Responsible for the overall coordination and management of all programmatic and financial aspects of the grant, you will develop detailed work plans and other technical documents, supervise and execute activities, and manage the administration, finance and technical areas of this large programme. The Chief of Party will manage the Global Fund grant management unit and ensure coordination and communication with the various stakeholders involved in the successful implementation of the programme.This position is immediately available and applicants available for an immediate start will be given priority.
A proven development professional, you will have significant experience managing large health programmes with proven ability in programme development and implementation, strategic planning, monitoring and evaluations, team and office management. An in depth knowledge of matters related to Malaria transmission and prevention, and strategies to influence policies in these domains is a key requirement of this role. With previous experience as a Chief of Party or Programme Director, you will be able to demonstrate effective leadership skills and the ability to work successfully with international partners. Previous experience managing Global Fund grants would be advantageous.
