The purpose of the Senior Portfolio Manager is to:
The post holder will contribute to the achievement of the overall account portfolio growth targets and will work closely with the Regional Partnerships Manager and Head of Regional Portfolio. You will assist with the monitoring and oversight of all SCUK donor projects within the assigned countries, and contribute to effective knowledge management and development of tools/ job aids.
We are seeking a candidate who has line management experience, strong knowledge of DFID, EuropeAid, ECHO and UNICEF in additional to the experience working with corporate donors. The candidate is expected to have strong relationship development skills particularly at a distance and competency in financial processes and reporting. A good working knowledge of Asia region and understanding of context and operating environment issues is essential.
This role may require the post holder to travel up to 25% of the time.

- In conjunction with Country Offices in South Central Asia, lead on the timely creation of proposals, contracts and reports in support of quality delivery of the end to end grant cycle
- Contribute to the development of new business practices and tools to streamline processes and improve quality and efficiency of work.
- Contribute to verification of grant data accuracy / completeness as required for overall management and monitoring.
