fill the following position for our office in Bali:
MARINE PROGRAM COORDINATOR
Responsibilities:
- Assist senior CII Marine staff with planning, coordination, budgeting, monitoring and evaluation across selected programs and projects in the CII Marine portfolio.
- Day-to-day management and administration of grants and contracts for the marine program. Assist with programs aiming to build capacity of grantees, particularly ‘local’ NGO partners.
- Assist with program reporting across selected marine projects – including coordinating donor reporting, partner updates, fact-checking and editing drafts, coordinating and compiling inputs from partners
- Assist senior management with all HR and recruitment for the marine program - including socialization of policies and procedures with field offices, assisting the preparation of job descriptions and coordination recruitment processes.
- Assist the management and operations team to strengthen program delivery and operations – including identifying inefficiencies and sharing ‘best practice’ between sites, identifying staff training needs, and facilitating communication between sites and programs.
- Assist with other Marine program initiatives as required – including communications, supporting donor visits, new program development, writing and editing.
Qualifications:
- University Degree (S1) related to organizational management with at least 3 years’ experience in a professional capacity is an advantage
- Strong coordination and administrative skills, and attention to detail
- Strong contracts and grants management skills
- Strong communication, interpersonal skills
- Good capacity to communicate/write in English
- Experience with work planning and/or budgets
- Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks under competing timelines, and ability to priorities effectively
- Ability to travel and work with minimal supervision, both in the field and in the office
Time-frame
This position is on a one-year contract with possibility of
extension based on mutual agreement and availability of funding.
