important lands and waters for nature and people. In Indonesia, TNC has been supporting improved natural resource planning and management for 20 years, including working
with government, private sector, and local communities.
TNC Indonesia Program is now entering into a strategic
partnership for integrated landscape management initiatives with one of
the largest and most technologically advanced pulp and paper producers
in the world.
We are looking for candidates with knowledge and experiences of
forestry sector, particularly pulp and paper industry, to become part of
a vibrant and dynamic team to implement this partnership with our
existing team as well as our regional and global
experts.
Sustainable Finance Development Manager
Provides
expertise/technical advice on conservation finance and develops
innovative financing strategies/ methods, analyses,
tools and frameworks to address sustainable resource use and
management, in particular, focusing on good governance, institutional
capacity building and sustainable financing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and 7 years’ experience in a private sector environment, such as management consulting and investment banking, or with a leading conservation organization or government entity, or in developing good governance and sustainable financing frameworks and systems as well as building the capacity of local institutions to manage natural resources or equivalent combination of education and experience. MBA or similar degree with significant coursework in finance or economics is preferred
- Successful experience in partnership development including extensive networking with high-level conservation contacts
