KOICA Indonesia is seeking a candidate for below position.
WFK
(World Friends Korea) Program, operated by Korea International
Cooperation Agency (KOICA), is the volunteer dispatch program of the
government of republic of Korea to Indonesia. Annually, 50 to 100
volunteers and advisors are dispatched to Indonesia for the activities
in the field, especially concerning early childhood education, IT
training, vocational training, etc. We are now working with ministries
and regional government concerned across Java, Sumatera, Kalimantan,
Sulawesi.
Position: WFK Manager (Safety Issues)
Number of Position: 1 (One)
Place: Jakarta
Start work: January 2016 or as agreed
Duration: Annual basis/can be extended upon agreement
Specific Qualification:
- Working experience in national or regional police or related institutions Or 7 years careers+ or experience in other donor agencies on volunteer management
General Qualification
- Bachelor Degree or Master Degree with relevant major which can perform abovementioned tasks
- Willing to develop a good teamwork with the Partnership staff; having a good skill in report writing, and good skill on the use of ICT Excellent communication both in oral and written in Bahasa Indonesia and English and interpersonal skills
- Excellent administration and organizational skills
- Flexible, able to multi-task and work well in under pressure
- Good interpersonal and communication skills in English and Indonesia (spoken and written skill) is required
- Be able to work in a cultural sensitive manner
- Be able to work fast to meet deadlines and prioritize workload
Main Work :
- Management of safety issues of WFK volunteers
- Demand survey
- SOP of visa application development and other institutional/system improvement related to volunteer management
- Networking and cooperating with relevant line ministries
- Monitoring and evaluation of volunteer program
- Regular and constant environment checking with the host organization where volunteers dispatched
- Support administrative things for WFK advisor when finishing their duty, changing the location of their duty, extension of their duty, etc. (e.g. visa extension, etc)
- Networking and cooperating with relevant line ministries
- Providing the regular report to KOICA supervisors about monitoring result on volunteer activities and communications with partner organizations
Related Administrative Service and Responsibilities
- Support meetings and workshops held by KOICA Indonesia technically
- Provide support to Country Director and/or Deputy Country Director in document and correspondence preparation and follow-ups
Others: Additional tasks can be required in case of internal needs
