Action Contre La Faim Job Vacancy: Nutrition Expert - Indonesian

The position: Under the supervision of the Field Coordinator, you will be responsible to continue the capacity building of the Nutrition Program Managers, to continue the collaboration with the local partner DHO through capacity building and training of partner’s organization and staff, and to assist in identification, training and coaching of a local DHO to take over for Nutrition activities.

More precisely, your main activities will be:

• Ensure technical and managerial support to Nutrition Program Managers
• Supervise the national PM technically to ensure the implementation of programs and support to local partner for CMAM program.
• Ensure that performance indicators in nutrition are properly measured and met within the different nutrition activities.
• Analyze the data gathered at program level and alert the Program Coordinator on significant challenges and variations in the program outcomes
• Follow SMART Surveys to ensure methodology strictly followed and data collected effectively
• Support SQUEAC Survey to understand Program Coverage

Logistic

• Ensure that the nutrition program consumable commodities including rations, drugs and equipment are well managed within the program
• Ensure timely order, procurement and supply of essential commodities and supplies for the nutrition department are placed.

Human Resources and Admin

• Manage the members of the nutritional teams through supportive supervision
  Support the Programs Managers in determining staffing needs and recruitment process
• Support the Programs Managers to prepare and carry out appropriate training curriculum, and facilitate/ execute the trainings
• Supervise the Nut PM’s management of nutrition activity budgets (Supply plan, Yearly treasury projections, BFU/PFU)
• Supervise the program implemented through local partners in the host community
• Continue capacity building on qualitative reports, on financial and log management
• Participate in the definition of training plan for DHO staff taking
• Liaise directly with UNICEF reference person on program activities and implementation
• Ensure timely and qualitative reporting on programs
• Review donor, monthly and situational programmatic reports
• Continue capacity building to Programs Managers for donor reports and proposal formulation
• Support the partner NGO in the preparation of program reports and proposal formulation
• Participate in internal/external coordination
• Ensure proper coordination and referral system with DHO
• Ensure constant M&E of the nutrition programmes components of the operation
• Represent ACF in meetings and thematic forums related to nutrition and health at field level
• Participate in technical meetings with the Program Coordinator

How to Apply:
You hold a Master degree in Nutrition or Nurse with a strong experience in CMAM program setup with local partners. You are recognized for your technical expertise in CMAM, SMART/SQUEAC and your capacity to train trainers and supervise follow up training.

Organized and autonomous, you have also a good management skill and have the ability to work in a stressful environment. Your English is fluent (spoken and written).
