FUNDRAISING MANAGER
ST JOHN INTERNATIONAL
Up to £48K depending on experience
St John organisations are engaged in 40 countries worldwide, responding to needs of local communities through first aid training, pre-hospital care, community health efforts such as home-based care, promoting maternal and newborn health, and disaster preparedness and response. The Order of St. John was constituted by royal charter in 1888, and is a Christian organisation that works with people of all faiths and no faith.
We are strengthening programme delivery and fundraising to support efforts in lower and middle income countries where St John works. A key part of this is an exciting new opportunity for an experienced fundraiser to work in the London-based International Office. We are a small and friendly office, and the job is an opportunity to work at all levels with supporters and potential donors.
St John International is targeting different sources of funds. The Fundraising Manager will be responsible for leading new efforts based largely on relationship fundraising with individuals, trusts and business, and for related activities including events and marketing.
The post-holder will also contribute as part of a team to developing fundraising proposals for major institutional donors of development projects.
Please consult the job description for further details.
To apply please send a CV, and a brief covering letter to recruitment@orderofstjohn.org outlining your relevant experience and skills and providing your current salary.
The application deadline is 12:00 noon on Monday 7 March. Interviews will be held on Wednesday 16 March.
