Job purpose:
An
opportunity has arisen for a full-time Senior Policy and Research
Advisor to deliver research, policy and knowledge. We are seeking an
experienced post-graduate and self-motivated individual to develop and
drive our research and policy activity forward. As a new position, the
Advisor will have the opportunity to shape and grow the role over time.
You
will have expertise in at least one of our areas of focus. We also
welcome applications from individuals with other areas of expertise that
align with our interests. You will be primarily responsible for leading
the development new innovative research, policy and knowledge content
in line with EAPs mission
to improve infrastructure policy and engineering practice in order to
help reduce and eventually eliminate poverty. It will also include
identifying and pursuing funding opportunities through grant
applications and consultancy opportunities. Finally, it will also
involve working with our communications manager to identify key messages
from the research, policy and knowledge content to maximise our
influence amongst key decision-makers through our website, regular
newsletters, blogs, social media and external events.
