Tasks and responsibilities
- Conduct regular participatory assessments by using a gender and age perspective to fully understand the refugee population and its sub-groups.
- Plan and implement Community Services activities within selected refugee sites.
- Support in the recruitment of project staff.
- Support in writing proposals.
- Representation of INTERSOS in Humanitarian Fora and official Coordination Meetings.
- Liaise regularly with the Donor including reporting, staff management, overall financial management.
University degree in Education Sciences, International Relations, Social Sciences, or other related field (e.g. sociology, social work, psychology, law and human rights);
- Proved experience in Project Management in multicultural context;
- At least 3 years’ experience with NGO in Community Services/Protection
- Good knowledge of international UN donors’ guidelines
- Perfect knowledge of spoken and written English is necessary; Italian and Greek is an asset;
- Comfortable with computer use;
- Problem solving and strategic planning capabilities.
