This
position is for Indonesian Nationals only, based in Jakarta Office,
Fixed Term Contract for 1 Year (with possible of extension), and on C2
level.
TEAM PURPOSE:
To develop and implement strategic processes which are fundamental to
the achievement of the objectives of Oxfam’s strategic plan in Indonesia
JOB PURPOSE:
The job holder will manage the implementation of the Canadian
Government funded project entitled “Creating Spaces: Ending Early
Marriage” implemented in Indonesia. S/he will work together and support
two local CSOs to ensure efficient and effective delivery of this
three-year project. S/he will also play a role in linking up Oxfam’s
similar project in Pakistan, Bangladesh, India, Nepal and the
Philippines and other Gender Justice works in Indonesia.
Key Responsibility:
Support
partners proposal preparation process, ensuring based on wide
consultation with relevant parties (including most marginalized) and
prior learning, including capacity building, appraise and oversee of
partners grants and program management.
Doing internal coordination to ensure an effective system implemented.
Leading the campaign and advocacy initiatives as required by the program design
Build
alliance and network with wider stakeholders and also play role in link
up and shared the program learning with other countries, involve in
donor relation and fundraising initiatives.
Requirements:
- Master degree in gender and development, Human Rights or International Development is preferable
- At least five years experience in managing program/project
- Demonstrated experience and capacity to engage and motivate others to support Gender Justice;
- Extensive knowledge and experience in development and use of monitoring and evaluation systems;
- Extensive knowledge of CSO, WRO, government and donor development agenda’s and priorities in Indonesia and extensive professional networks; Also in development and implementation support program for CSO & WRO, including facilitation, mentoring and capacity building.
- Knowledge and experience of creating change, both through working in partnership with other organisations and direct implementation;
- Knowledge and experience in campaign and advocacy.
- Demonstrated high level analytical skills;
- High quality interpersonal, representational and negotiation skills;
- In depth understanding of community, and Indonesia GJ issues and their inter relationships
- Computer literacy particularly MS Office and e-mail usage
- Fluent written and spoken Bahasa Indonesia and English
- Have passion in gender equality and women rights
