Wahana Visi Indonesia (WVI) is

in the lives of children, families and communities living in poverty.

has been working for more than 20 years, employing more than 800 staff
in the programs and serving 1,400 of the poorest villages in Indonesia.
Our focus is on programming effort on health, education, child
protection and economic development across transformational development,
humanitarian emergency affairs and advocacy ministries. WVI is a
partner of World Vision International in Indonesia.
Wahana Visi Indonesia is currently seeking the following position:
Public Engagement and Resource Acquisition Director
This position is open for internal WVI and external, national or expatriate.
The contract for this position will be under Wahana Visi Indonesia.
Location : Bintaro, Tangerang Selatan, Indonesia
Major Roles:
To
lead all efforts of WVI to increase and diversify its local and
international funding base, ensure quality fund management, proactively
engage external partners, local donors, international donors, support
offices; and increase organizational brand awareness. This position has
to ensure the resource development and management, external engagement,
quality control for grant implementations, partnership communications
and media relations function are effectively implemented.
This
position is a member of the Senior Management Team (SMT). Each member
of the SMT is expected to provide leadership influence in becoming a
role model, and set a positive tone for the life and culture of the
organization especially for the accountability, strategic direction and
operational achievements.
Qualifications:
- Preferably master degree in Economics, Marketing, Communications, Social Science, Engineering, Public Administration or other relevant subjects.
- At least 5 (five) years professional experience in leadership position, involve in Resource Development and External Engagement strategy or implementation processes and exposures to Corporate Communications.
- Demonstrated success in securing international development funding from sources such as USAID, DFAT, EU, other International Aid Agencies and local fundraising program.
- Fluent in English, both in written and verbal (score TOEFL 550 or equivalent).
- Excellent analytical thinking.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Track record of success in networking, partnering and donor relations, include international network with a proven ability to maintain strong and up to date knowledge of grant and local fundraising opportunities and trends in international relief and development.
