We are looking for 2 Sparks in our Pedagogy team who would love to draw on a white canvas.
- Problem-How do we enhance learning outcomes across 100,000 government primary schools in 5 years.
- Constraints -We cannot use computers because of high costs, high complexity and poor power. We cannot hire and deploy new teachers, as we would need 100,000 teachers. Teacher training is possible however only for 4 days a year, which is too short to build new skills.
- Your Role –You would lead from idea/Innovation to execution. The solution has to be frugal so as to implement it across 100,000 schools impacting 10 million children. Thus you need to have initiative, self-drive and a passion that is energizing. We need people waiting to paint her/his own picture and would do anything to get an opportunity to do so.
Organization Overview:
With ‘Innovation led large scale social change’ as the central idea, Sampark Foundation, founded in 2005 by Vineet Nayar, Former CEO, HCL Technologies Ltd. and his wife Anupama Nayar, is impacting lives of 3 million children studying in 50,000 schools in Uttarakhand, Jammu & Kashmir and Chhattisgarh; making it one of the world’s largest primary school transformation initiatives by a Foundation.
Our goal is to significantly improve quality of education for 10 million of our children by 2020. Sampark Foundation provides a framework for the best young minds to become catalysts of change and help to create a more equitable society.
Middle School Pedagogy Executive:
Eligibility criterion –Bachelor's/ Master's degree in Science with experience of in teaching. B.Ed. would be added advantage however not a must.
Primary School Pedagogy Executive:
Eligibility criterion –Bachelor's/ Master's degree with experience of in teaching. B.Ed. would be added advantage however not a must.
Location – Noida, India
Please note the position has no team right now and the candidate is expected to disburse the above duties single-handedly. Remuneration will not be a challenge for the right candidate however should not be the reason to apply.
