International Partnerships Manager
Location: Head Office, London
Salary: £35 - £37K
Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week
Leonard Cheshire Disability (LCD) is currently recruiting for an experienced Partnerships Manager to join its International Department; working in partnership is at the heart of LCD’s approach.
LCD’s International operation runs education, livelihoods and youth leadership projects, campaigns globally for the rights of persons with disabilities and carries out academic research through its Centre based at University College London. The head office is in London, and activities are overseen by regional offices in Kenya, Zambia, Sierra Leone, India and Thailand, and delivered by partners that are part of a deeply rooted network of over 200 organisations in 54 countries.
You will have extensive experience of identifying and cultivating a range of international partnerships, with particular focus on building the capacity and strengthening the development and growth of local organisations and networks.
With significant coordinating and negotiation experience you will also lead in LCD’s provisions of a secretariat function to the Cheshire Global Alliance including managing relationships with the National and Regional Boards, developing and facilitating innovative means of sharing best practice, learning and experience between members.
