Transition Change Manager – Contract Based
Key Outcomes
High Level Transition Plan with key milestones and decision points for PII and the Yayasan Board and CMT. Monthly progress reports (including investment spending) to PII and the Yayasan Board and CMT. Production and monitoring of project risk register - Key risks areas identified and proposed mitigating actions to PII and the Yayasan Board and CMT . Management team meeting minutes and action list every month Lessons learned document by the end of the term. Meaningful and substantive contributions of skills and talents towards the successful transition management from Plan International Indonesia to the Yayasan.
Typical Responsibilities and Activities
Lead the implementation of the Transition Plan and monitor its progress monthly, Monitor the investment budget and actual expenditure, Organize regular meetings with the CMT to ensure maximum collaboration and coordination, Participate in PII and Yayasan Board and CMT discussions to ensure that transition concerns are being addressed. Develop& /or approve TORs for consultancies and endorse to the CD or Yayasan ND , Identify obstacles, gaps or unforeseen issues and propose recommendation to PII and Yayasan Board and CMT for resolution, Assess the impact and implication of the legal, Communicate the Transition Plan implementation progress monthly PII and the Yayasan Board and CMT , Participate in recruitment activities as required. Ensure that all relevant documents are updated and available.
COMPETENCY REQUIREMENT
Five ( 5 ) years project management experience preferably Child Protection, disaster risk reduction, climate change, livelihood, WASH, ECD or rural development with international NGO’s or UN. Experience working with donor i.e European Union, World Bank, USAID and UN agency. Experience of managing project implementation, delivering on obligations and a good awareness of donor requirements and priorities. Experience in representational roles. Experience in promoting and developing learning in the area of expertise.Experience managing a team.Skill in a diversity of partnerships, NGOs, research and government .Demonstrated experience working with governments closely and effectively.Strong cross-cultural skills and a demonstrated ability to influence change without direct authority, and to work successfully with farmers and professionals. Financial and budgeting skills; Excellent communication skills (verbal and written); strong negotiation and facilitation skills; Ability to work to tight deadlines, under pressure and to multi-task;Ability to work in insecure and difficult environments Understand well on program cycle: planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluating development projects;Commitment to child rights and CCCD implementation
Knowledge and Skill
Good understanding about Program / Project concept and practices. Good understanding about Livelihood/ECD/DRM/Wash Management concept and practices. Good understanding about CSO strengthening concept and practices. Good facilitation and communication skill. Good networking with government organization, non-government organization, and others relevant institution. Good interpersonal skill and team work.Understand about human right and child right. Excellent computer skill and Writing skills in English
