Pamflet Job Consultant: Fundraising - Jakarta, Indonesian

Pamflet, a Jakarta-based youth-led organization with focus in youth activism and the promotion of human rights, is looking for a consultant who can support us to develop a fundraising strategy and to map potential donors in SRHR; to assist us further by monitoring and evaluating the implementation of the strategy in the first twelve months, and; to train our staff on donor needs to bridge the gap between the current SRHR program offer and donor proposal requirements and to stay engaged in an accompanied learning-by-doing process in proposal writing.

The consultancy is expected to take 12 months. The consultant shall propose his/her consultancy methodology for the duration of the first three months to work intensively with Pamflet in its office in South Jakarta, Indonesia (e.g. workshop for fundraising strategy, training on proposal writing), and for the remaining nine months, for which we anticipate, a monthly meeting with the consultant to monitor and evaluate the implementation of the fundraising plan and/or strategy (scheduled on mutual agreement).

We think that a regular follow-up will be required after the first three-months of intensive collaboration. As part of the methodology, we assume that an initial SWOT analysis might be helpful to get a better understanding where our organization stands at the moment regarding its fundraising capacities. Our team is available for in-depth interviews, e.g. also in view of a potential assessment of individual staff members fundraising capacities.

The consultant should have the following expertise, background and skills:

• Strong understanding of programs for youth development and SRHR
• Proven experience in conceptualizing, implementing, and/or evaluating programs of youth organizations is highly preferred
• Proven track record in having written high quality proposals and strategic planning documents
• Expertise in fundraising and training
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Availability for the consultancy in Jakarta from August to October 2017 (the first three months of intensive collaboration)

Budget available for the consultancy is up to 7000 USD or 91,000,000 IDR
