Procurement Officer
DAI Global, LLC seeks a Procurement Officer for USAID’s Flagship Maternal and Child Health Program, based in Jakarta, Indonesia. The Flagship Maternal and Newborn Health (MNH) Activity promotes the development of locally led solutions to prevent maternal and newborn deaths and extend essential health services to remote and impoverished areas.
This position under direction of Operation Manager will help the MNH team in leading the procurement process for MNH project. He/She will be the point person for procurement team and work closely with the admin staff in each province during procurement process and asset database.
His/her main task will be:
- Contribute to successful project procurement activities from start-to-end of the procurement process.
- Ensure that all solicitations of bids are clearly described to all prospective bidders, based upon a clear and accurate description of contract terms and goods/services to be provided.
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure delivery of services in a timeline fashion.
- Maintain positive relationships with vendors and ensure the vendor interactions are compliant with DAI and USAID policies.
- Manage various database lists—vendors, active procurement, asset, etc.
- Ensure that procurement activities are compliant with USAID procedures and policies.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in USAID project as procurement and administration staff
- Proficiency in USAID policies and regulations pertaining to procurement.
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required.
- Integrity and Accountable person with wide range networking among various vendors
