Responsibilities and Scope
- Apply big data methods and technologies to maintain, verify and analyze large volume of data to identify trends or patterns
- Build and present analytics reports, using dashboards to visualize findings
- Spatial data analysis and mapping using GIS tools
- Support the implementation of TFT’s digital projects, including managing timelines and deliverables, communicating project statuses, monitoring budgets etc.
- Engage internal and external stakeholders to get a well-rounded understanding of industry needs and opportunities via field works/ visits
- Maintain a good understanding of emerging technologies and provide recommendations to show the potential of technology in transforming connected supply chains
- Master’s / Bachelor degree or other equivalent higher level training in computer science, information technology, geospatial, remote sensing or related field
- Advanced writing and communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Minimum four years working experience in geospatial technical support / data analytics
- Proficiency in ESRI products, especially ArcGIS, and other GIS and mapping software
- Preferably familiar with data visualization techniques such as PowerBI, Tableau, etc.
- Ability to use R or Python for data analysis and manipulation will be an advantage. Knowledge and experience with national, regional and international spatial dataset is desired
- Entrepreneurial, out-of-the-box thinker with strong capability to solve problems
- Good understanding and keen interest in environmental and social issues related to palm oil industry
English proficiency
