As National Director – Jerusalem West Bank Gaza, you will oversee the development and strategy of all country operations. World Vision began working in Jerusalem West Bank Gaza in 1975 and now serves more than 560,000 children, their families and their communities across numerous programme areas.
You are a highly accomplished visionary leader who combines proven business disciplines with inspirational management skills to effectively communicate global initiatives, cultivate relationships, and identify opportunities to successfully drive World Vision Jerusalem West Bank Gaza growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic and Operational Leadership
- Performance Management and Accountabilities
- External Engagement and Advocacy
- Documentation and reporting
Requirements include:
- University degree or qualification in a relevant subject with a focus on leadership, management, project management or other relevant skills;
- At least 10+ years of proven leadership and operational experience with International NGOs / UN;
- Proven experience in overseeing large Government grants, major private donors and/or complex multi sectorial operations;
- Proven work experience in dynamic conflict zones and understanding and experience of Arabic culture and values;
- Fluent in English (written and oral) is required, knowledge of Arabic is an added advantage;
- Moderate travel to programme areas across the Jerusalem West Bank Gaza region as required
