Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Officer – TATTs Program
The MEL Officer (Junior Level) works under the supervision of Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) specialist and is responsible for supporting the day-to-day substantive monitoring, evaluation and learning processes of the TATTs program. Initially, the MEL Officer will be tasked with supporting the TATTs and MCI Jakarta’s operations and finance teams with the (retroactive) BAST reporting requirements of the BNPB. In addition, s/he will support the TATTs program in conducting routine and specialized performance and progress monitoring and evaluation to ensure program accountability and TATTs is on track to delivering its strategic objectives. This person is expected to be able to work collaboratively with Mercy Corps Indonesia, TATTs partners and TATTs Jakarta and provincial teams.
Qualifications:
- A University degree in relevant field such as in Statistics or Social Sciences, and be familiar with research methodologies and monitoring/evaluation system;
- Have 1-2 years experiences working in monitoring and evaluation area;
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written communication is essential;
- Have capacity to follow instruction on using monitoring and evaluation system, data management, analysis and reporting, such as Excel (STATA/SPSS/R and other tools would be an advantage);
- Ability to learn quickly, follow direction, report back on the need, and identify the gap;
- Proficiency with MS Office software required (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
