Title: Director
The
Indonesian Scholarship and Research Support Foundation (ISRSF) is an
independent, non-profit organization founded in 2012 that invests in
young Indonesian social scientists with the long-term goal of improving
the quality of social science research and teaching in Indonesia.
ISRSF seeks applicants for the position of Director.
The
successful candidate will lead ISRSF into its next phase of operation
by focusing on developing a conducive intellectual, academic habitat for
ISRSF's returning Arryman Scholars.
- The Director will work closely with government offices, domestic and international institutional partners in higher education, and donors to advance the Foundation's agenda.
- Applicants should have experience and skills in areas such as organizational development and management, education, planning, communications, and strategy. In addition to excellent skills in Indonesian, candidates should be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Applicants should have at least an MA degree in a related field.
- A PhD degree is preferred.
- The Director will be based in Jakarta.
- Salary and benefits will be commensurate with experience.

The
deadline to apply is November 23, 2018. Interviews will be conducted
in Jakarta during the first two weeks of December. The position starts
in January 2019.
