Chief Executive Officer - Chilterns Conservation Board
Location: Chilterns Conservation Board, The Lodge, 90 Station Road, Chinnor, OX39 4HA
Circa £55-60k per annum
Closing date: 25th February 2019
Stretching from the Thames in the south to Hitchin in the north, there are few other designated landscapes which could claim to have as much recreational opportunity as the Chilterns. The Chiltern Hills were designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) in the 1960s and is one of only two Areas to have the governance structure of a Conservation Board.
The Chief Executive Officer will ensure the Chilterns Conservation Board fulfils its purposes: to conserve and enhance the natural beauty of the AONB; and to increase the understanding and enjoyment of the special qualities of the AONB.
