We currently have an opening for: Community Livelihood Specialist
The Community Livelihood Specialist
manages and advances the implementation of sustainable agriculture
initiative in East Kalimantan. The Community Livelihood Specialist is
based in Berau and report to Senior Community Manager,
while maintaining regular communication/close coordination with
YKAN|TNC Indonesia Terrestrial Program staff in Jakarta, Samarinda and
Berau
Duties are include:
- Support the development of various analyses promoting sustainable agriculture in East Kalimantan to achieve its green growth vision, including system dynamic model of key selected commodities and business analysis for key selected commodities to increase investment for sustainable agriculture development.
- Provide technical assistance to village governments and community groups to develop plans, create partnerships and agreements, and mobilize resources to support the implementation of sustainable agriculture development initiative.
- Liaise with key stakeholders, including government agencies, village governments, and community-based institutions, to actively engage in sustainable agriculture development initiative.
- Support the establishment of potential collaboration and partnerships among government, private sector, and community on sustainable agriculture development.
- Organize various events and meetings in Berau District and East Kalimantan related to PRUKADES or sustainable agriculture development.
- BA/BS, law or business degree and 5 years’ experience in natural resource management or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience negotiating complex agreements.
- Supervisory experience.
- Experience communicating with the public and/or media both in writing and verbally.
- Experience using applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Web Browsers.
- Real estate license (if required).
- Experience with principles of land acquisition
