Know our team
- Nutrition International’s Corporate Services (CS) unit is a dedicated team of Finance and Administrative experts with extensive global experience. The unit leads on providing global Accounting, Finance, Budget and Compliance, Contracting and Procurement, Facilities management, and Information Management and Information Technology (IM/IT). Corporate Services teams are found in Nutrition International’s Headquarters in Ottawa, Canada, as well as within our Regional and Country offices throughout Africa and Asia.
About you
- You have a Bachelor of Science or a Bachelor of Arts in accounting, finance, or more than 7 years’ experience in financial and grant management, budgeting, and reconciliation. You have 7 years experience in developing costing models or proposal budgets and assessing or mitigating risk at the project design stage for $3M and above proposals. You are well organized, flexible and enjoy the challenges and rewards of working in a diverse office environment.
About the role
In this role you will:
- Lead on the development of detailed and high-quality budget proposals for projects as well as the development of guidance and tools to support Nutrition International’s process and quality improvement efforts at Country, Regional and Head office.
- Monitors and coordinates all phases of grants and contributions from award through close-out, including grants administration, compliance, reporting, and compliance with approved budgets, contract terms, and legal or regulatory requirements.
- Ensures compliance with current program budgets and spending policies, and proposes improved policies and systems regarding spending guidelines, cost savings, cost allocation and annual planning.
