We currently have an opening for: FINANCE REPORTING SPECIALIST
Yayasan Konservasi Alam Nusantara generate financial report for internal and external stakeholder; and comply with the General Accepted Accounting Principal (both Indonesia PSAK or US GAAP) or in the specific finance purpose for the management of the organization.
The Finance Reporting Specialist provides highly specialized finance and accounting-related services to support the other team member in generate finance and accounting report, or prepare internal report required by management of the organization. This position should have a high level of expertise in their area(s) of specialization. They respond to moderately complex employee or management questions and problems based on advanced knowledge of the subject area.
The Finance Reporting Specialist will coordinate with and support the Accounting Manager in monitoring detail subledger of the balance sheet; including the current outstanding staff advance, fixed asset or equipment/inventory, list of liabilities (severance accrual, deferred revenue, organization tax and other).
Payroll transaction and personnel expense report for donor should also be considered as specific report. The Finance Reporting Specialist in coordination with HR Team will be in-charge as Payroll Accountant in the payroll payment process and reporting; or might be involved in the current payroll payment process with the existing team. This position might coordinate with the existing team for the monthly employee tax reporting and reconciliation of annual staff income tax deduction report. They should regularly work with Program Finance Manager (Ocean Finance & Program Support Manager and Terrestrial Finance & Program Support Senior Manager) to monitor the staff time allocation report and compare with staff time allocation in all proposals.
The Finance Reporting Specialist will coordinate with Program Finance Manager (Ocean Finance & Program Support Manager and Terrestrial Finance & Program Support Senior Manager) preparing high level report of actual Project To Date (PTD) expense for all temporary restricted fund from donor. Also preparing the potential Indirect Cost Recovery (ICR) should be received from that restricted fund.
The Finance Reporting Specialist reports to Head of Finance & Program Support and based in Jakarta.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field and 3 years' related experience or equivalent combination.
- Experience with accounting/financial issues and analysis.
- Experience using accounting and financial reporting systems.
- Technical experience with spreadsheet programs, general ledger reports and financial management tools.
- Experience with GAAP and fund accounting principles, practices, and regulations
