Recognised worldwide as a leading actorin the fight against sexual exploitation of children, ECPAT has evolved from a grassroots movement to 126-member strong network of civil society organisations across 104 countries, working at all levels with one common goal: to end the sexual exploitation of children around the world.
Together with its members and partners, ECPAT coordinates evidence-based advocacy at all levels to strengthen national justice and protection systems and increase investment in the fight against sexual exploitation of children. This includes cutting-edge research to build the collective understanding of what it will take to end the sexual exploitation of children.
We are now seeking an exceptional individual to lead our global Network Engagement and Partnerships. Bringing experience of working internationally and advocating at the highest levels, our next Director of Network Engagement and Strategic Partnership Development will be a fundamental and critical member of the Senior Management Team. They will bring the humility, cultural nous, and emotional intelligence required to successfully engage with the Secretariat and draw together and leverage ECPAT’s dynamic and innovative membership in the fight to eliminate the sexual exploitation of children. Through collaboration, strong project management and motivational leadership, this position will be focused on ensuring a healthy development and expansion of the ECPAT network, while influencing to strengthen our goal to end SEC. With a long-term vision geared towards sustainable partnerships, the role will excel at communicating a clear future, and engaging others on a journey of change.
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Director of Network Engagement and Strategic Partnership Developmentwill provide senior leadership for the development and implementation of an innovative strategy to strengthen, develop, expand and diversity ECPAT’s network of civil society organisations. This role will help promote an impactful network, by spearheading key multi-stakeholder collaborations including engaging our donor networks.
An authentic and collaborative leader, the Director of Network Engagement and Strategic Partnership Development will bring the influence and credibility in the field of Child Rights to represent the organisation externally, representing the movement in multicultural settings and demonstrating deeply held values which align with the vision and values of the organisation and its members.

ECPAT´s International Secretariat is based in Bangkok, Thailand. The incumbent will be required to travel approximately 30% of the time to support ECPAT´s global work.
The starting salary for this role will be 90,000USD plus international health insurance and other expatriate benefits. An additional relocation allowance will be provided.
The ECPAT International team is made up of 34 dedicated child protection practitioners, child rights advocates, researchers and operations professionals. About half the team is based in Bangkok, Thailand, while the others work home based from their countries of residence.
