Founded in 1991, Secours Islamique France (SIF) is an international non-governmental organization (NGO) for emergency relief and development. SIF operates with strict neutrality, without distinction of origin, gender or religion, and is dedicated to alleviating the suffering of the world's most deprived populations.
You would be under the supervision of the Head of Mission and supervise the base leaders.
Your main missions will be the following (non-exhaustive and evolving list):
- Contribute to the development of the Mission's operational strategy: analysis of the context and its evolution, development of problem trees and envisaged solutions, analysis of needs assessment, proposal of new actions
- Ensure the implementation and monitoring of projects on the Morombé and Ampanihy base and area
- Supervise diagnostic, monitoring and evaluation missions on current and future sites
- Coordinate the implementation of projects in the Tambacounda area, taking into account the logical framework, the budget, as well as recommendations from support services (administration and logistics)
- Supervise the entire project cycle (through the implementation and use of monitoring tools, presence in the field, compliance with deadlines, budget monitoring),
- Provide support to project teams with regular missions to be planned on each base, in the definition, implementation monitoring and evaluation of projects according to the objectives
- Participates in human resources recruitment: develops and corrects tests, prepares and conducts interviews.
- Manage teams: briefing, planning, monitoring, coaching, performance interviews, strengthening technical knowledge, etc.
- Manages the budgets for his field: regular monitoring of the status of expenditure in relation to allocated budgets and programmatic forecasts, validation of expenditure for which he is the budgetary manager;
- Participates in the development of the mission's purchasing plan and, based on purchasing thresholds and procedures: supervises the supply of its field
Profile :
- Training : Significant training or experience in humanitarian project management. Bioforce type training highly appreciated.
- Experience Required : Field experience in an NGO or equivalent structure of at least 3 years in project coordination.
- Experience in basic management highly appreciated
- Expatriation experience in the field in Madagascar will be an asset
- Experience in SAME, Childhood (protection/education), and EHA projects will be an asset.
- Diagnosis and situation analysis.
- Good management skills, desire to set an example.
- Fluency in written and spoken French. English and Malagasy will be additional assets.

Conditions :
- Fixed-term contract, 6 months, full-time, renewable
